January 2009 Motion Passed - Motion on the floor to send Dave B. to the West Regional Conference. Motion seconded.
Motion Passed - Motion made by Carl S. to create an Ad Hoc Committee to look into options to reduce costs. Focus will initially be on printing costs. Don B. seconded the motion.
February 2009 Motion Passed - Leanne made a motion to let the Ad Hoc. Committee take care of the mileage reimbursement discussion. Bill W. seconded.
March 2009 Motion Passed - Leanne made a motion to change the April district meeting to 4/19/2009 along with Intergroup. Bill W. seconded.
July 2009 Motion Passed - John B. made a motion to take the September district meeting to Perry. Chris S. seconded.
Motion Passed - Leanne made a motion for district to give the Fall Conference $200 for hospitality supplies. Bob P seconded. The $200 will be given back to district out of the donations received in the hospitality rooms for the conference.
August 2009 Motion Passed - Leanne made a motion to put together an Ad Hoc Committee to better serve other districts in Iowa. Linda H. seconded.
September 2009 Motion Passed - John B. made a motion to take the November district meeting to Newton. John N. seconded.
Motion Passed - Carrie E. made a motion to pay the customary $35 to the Perry group for the use of the room. Chris S. seconded.
December 2009 Motion Passed - Jayson J. made a motion that the finance committee decide how to use the profits from book sales. Dale seconded.
Motion Passed - Motion was made to allow Annie M. to still serve as district chair, even though her job does not allow her to make the meetings. She will need to supply the district with a written report each month. Motion was seconded.
Motion Passed - Motion was made and seconded to take the March 2010 district meeting to Indianola, IA.
